According to those who managed to explore sections of these underground passages, the tunnels are extremely narrow, with stone walls, low ceilings, heavy humidity, and complex branching paths that can easily cause visitors to lose their sense of direction.

Unofficial reports also suggest that some parts of the tunnels collapsed centuries ago, while other sections remain sealed or unexplored due to dangerous ground conditions and the deterioration of the ancient structures.

Between fact and legend, the Shaftesbury Labyrinth remains one of Europe’s most mysterious underground enigmas, where history blends with horror and reality mixes with myth.
